Designers: Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling

Rolf Rastad (1916–1995) and Adolf Relling (1913–2006) were leading figures in 20th-century Norwegian design. In 1943, they founded the design bureau Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in Oslo, which became synonymous with Scandinavian aesthetics and innovative furniture design.

One of their most iconic projects was the Highboard “Flor,” which perfectly balances utility and sophisticated design.

Their works, including “Flor,” the “Bambi” chairs, and the “Falken” armchair, gained recognition at international exhibitions, such as the Milan Triennale and the Cologne Furniture Fair, where Rastad & Relling’s designs were celebrated for their elegance and functionality.
